I have a
set of four
1960’s vintage bar glasses. These glasses may be wine of craft beer glasses as they are
wide-bowled with a tapered mouth
, perfect for capturing the aromas of strong ales or wine because the glass provides room to swirl. These
12 U.S Fluid Ounce (0.35 L)
glasses stand about
4½” (11.3 cm) tall
with the
rim measuring about 2½” (6.4 cm) wide
, with the bowl of the glass being a little wider.
The
glasses shown
in the listing
are the exact glasses
you will be receiving.
They come from a South St. Louis, Missouri estate
and I’m told were
gifted during the late 1960’s.
These glasses are
listed as used and are in very good to excellent condition
except for one which has wear or scrapes
to the gold graphic
(See glass on the right side in the photographs)
.
Made of glass and having a heavy base,
the glass won’t lay on its side because of the bulb shape.
The gold graphic may be barley & wheat or a wild flower pattern.
The designer is unknown
as the
piece is unsigned
.
