Each year the Royal Canadian mint puts out a prooflike set.  This 6 coin set is the 1970  PL set. The dollar coin commemorates the centennial of Manitoba's joining confederation in 1870.
The quality of this set is premium!!!  The coins have a particularly appealing appearance with a strong strike.  The original brown envelope is in great shape with no stickers or folds or damage (this is very hard to find). There is only a "1970" date written on its front (neatly). This set is for a collector who wants a particularly nice example of a 1970 pl set.
