Deluxe Double Dollar Set
The silver dollar commemorates the centenary of the transfer from England to the Dominion of Canada of a large part of the Canadian Artic Territories. The reverse depicts a polar bear on an ice floe with the aurora borealis in the background. The nickel dollar bears the popular design of the Indian and Voyageur in a canoe which appeared on the first Canadian silver dollar issued in 1935.
The coins in this lot are in the original leather case including a certificate from the Royal Canadian Mint.
