Proof Double Dollar Set
Contains Both the Silver and Circulating Dollars
The silver dollar marks the 250th anniversary of the Saint-Maurice Ironworks in the Province of Quebec. The design is the work of Robert-Ralph Carmichael of Ontario and depicts two ironworkers of the 18th century. The new circulating dollar, bearing the design of the common loon, replaces the nickel dollar.
The coins in this lot are in the original leather case including a certificate from the Royal Canadian Mint. The external plastic box is not included.
