FG7 - Handmade Antique Silver Suncatcher Mobile Wind Chime with Fused Glass

Description

This whimsical fused glass and silver suncatcher wind chime features multi-colored fused glass strips which shine beautifully in the sunlight or indoors.  Further sparkle is added with silver jack chain and faceted glass crystals.
Some of these lovely chimes are also accented with old keys and vintage to newer finger rings.
This wind chime would be a gorgeous addition to any porch, solarium or yard.  They also look just as beautiful in any room of the house.
The chimes enhanced with glass beads are "strung" on wire, rather than fishing line for durability and longer life.  Please note that if wire is a part of this chime, it will not be as free moving and active and therefore will not chime as loudly.
My wind chimes are designed to be mostly decorative with a soft sound as a bonus.  If hung inside, they make a lovely sound if within the airflow of a ceiling fan.
This chime will be at its best hanging under an overhang or on a covered porch or solarium, where it is not out in constant weather conditions.
If it will be used out in the weather, I suggest that you purchase a clear gloss sealer and spray the entire piece at least once a year to protect it from rust (unless you like rust, like me!)
If you do get rust, I suggest purchasing Evapo-Rust from O'Reilly Automotive.  This environmentally safe solution easily dissolves rust and then the chime can be re-treated with the sealer to protect the metals from the elements going forward.
