This whimsical fused glass mobile/wind chimes feature crystal clear fused glass, which glistens beautifully in the sunlight.  Further sparkle is added with silver jack chain, clear and white glass beads and silver beads.  These mobile wind chimes are made in a very abstract and random design with left-over shards of glass stacked and placed to give the appearance of melting icicles.
These unique mobile wind chimes would be a gorgeous addition to any porch, solarium or yard.  They also look just as beautiful in any room of the house or in a sunny window, hanging from a strong suction cup.  I actually use small (cafe curtain) suspension rods in my windows to hang these beauties, so that they can move gently with the air flow of our ceiling fan.
The glass beads on these chimes are "strung" on wire, rather than fishing line for durability and longer life.  My wind chimes are designed to be mostly decorative with a soft sound as a bonus.  These chimes will make a soft clinking sound if grouped together so that they can touch.  Stand alone pieces will not chime, but are more like a mobile design.
These chimes will be at their best hanging under an overhang or on a covered porch or solarium, where they are not out in constant weather conditions.
If they will be used out in the weather, I suggest that you purchase a clear gloss sealer and spray them at least once a year to protect them from rust (unless you like rust, like me!)
If you do get rust, I suggest purchasing Evapo-Rust from O'Reilly Automotive.  This environmentally safe solution easily dissolves rust and then the chimes can be re-treated with the sealer to protect the metals from the elements going forward.
