A Matched Set of Four Absolutely Outstanding, Exceedingly Rare, Red & Gold, Lavishly Swank, Vintage Equestrian Fox Hunting Chase Scene Barware Tumblers.
All Four Tumblers appear to be in excellent vintage condition with only very minor signs of wearing and / or use. With that said, none of the glasses have any chips, cracks, fleabites, nicks or damage of any kind.
The glasses are uniquely designed, with a large centered band, which features dark red, glossy images of equestrian fox hunt maneuvers set against a rich red matte finish back drop, while two glossy gold accent rings, sit directly above and below, highlighting the stylishly textured, brushed gold images of the hounds on the chase. The motifs also includes additional red bands running nearest the top and bottom of the glass, which features a pattern of alternating images of glossy gold fox heads and the iconic fox hunting horn in dark red.
The glasses each measure approximately 5 5/8” tall with a 2 3/4” diameter at the mouth and a hefty weight of 9.6 ounces each, which provides all of the glasses with a rather substantial, high quality feel.
