DESCRIPTION: Vintage Amethyst Footed Pedestal Compote Candy Dish Bowl. This purple footed bowl has
embossed
ribbon, beading, floral and tear drop designs surrounding the bowl, with a scalloped edge and paneled rim. It has a ball stem with a scalloped paneled foot. This may have been made by the US Glass Company patterned Bubble & Drape in the early 1900's. This vintage footed bowl would make a lovely candy dish, serving bowl or even a charming small ice bucket for an intimate gathering. This
piece
with its intricate design would make a lovely addition to any
tablescape. Adding a topiary, boxwood ball or a lovely candle can bring a vintage botanical feel to your table decor.
