This item is New-Old Stock and Unused. It is what is termed Indiana Depression Pressed Glass that is totally clear. The design is a Starburst Pattern on each piece with scalloped edges. The four square smaller dishes measure 3 3/4" square and the edges are 1 1/4" high.  The one oblong dish measures 8" long by 5 1/4" wide and is 1" tall.  The one large square piece measures 8 1/4" by 8 1/4" and is 1" tall.  All have the Starburst Design with the Scalloped edging. All are made of thick, heavy clear glass. This relish/condiment set can be used for a variety of cut up vegetables both hot or cold, at family gatherings or for jams and jellies at get together breakfast feasts. It is perfect for afternoon coffee or tea, to serve a variety of cookies to guests. This is a versatile set that lends itself to many uses. All pressed glass of that era, have flaws within the glass. The large square dish has two small bubbles, while the smaller square dishes have small manufacture lines. This has been stored away for decades in a smoke free/pet free home.
